This is Coach Lytle's 5th year coaching the Jaguars. Coach Lytle began swimming for a summer league team at age 10, a club team at 12 and her high school team at 13. As a high school swimmer, she was a state qualifier in 100 backstroke, 200 IM and 50 freestyle. Her coaching experience began when she worked as a lifeguard and assisted with her summer league team. During her college years at the University of Virginia, she took a break from swimming to focus on other interests, but taught swim lessons in the summer to make extra money. After college, she became an assistant coach for Battlefield High School in Haymarket, Virginia for two years before returning to school to pursue a Master’s Degree in Special Education at George Mason University. Coach Lytle has been working in education for the past 9 years and is currently an exceptional education teacher/collaborative Geometry teacher at Glen Allen High School.
